Division 2 of the Men’s Sunshine Coast District Pennant competition was played at the Woombye Bowls Club yesterday.
Woombye was competing against the Caloundra Waves.
Caloundra Waves won overall by 6.
Results:
Woombye’s Vern Elms, Brian Perren, Doug Tognolini and Shane Krause defeated Caloundra Waves’ Ray Williams, Ian Walsh, David Dodd and Ray Whittaker 19-15.
Caloundra Waves’ Rod Thomas, Joe Carmody, Des Shaw and Peter Johnson defeated Woombye’s Peter Saurene, John Crawford, Wayne Edwards and Peter Harris 22-21.
Caloundra Waves’ Barry Roberts, Sam Walton, Lou Fitzgerald and Ed Boxall defeated Woombye’s Wayne Knetter, Mark McInnes, Daniel Bulloch and Al Sandercock 28-19.
The Women’s Division 6 was played at Caloundra in windy conditions.

Woombye lost both games by 5 each going down in total 10, 46-36.
